This Week In Disc Golf | August 25, 2022
Watch as Charlie Eisenhood breaks down the Des Moines Challenge, the largest payout in disc golf history, with a whopping over $100,000 on the line. The Pro Tour Elite Series regular season came to a close, setting the stage for the Green Mountain Championships and the MVP Open leading up to the Tour Championship in Charlotte later this fall. Simon Lizotte dominated early rounds, but ultimately finished second behind Robert Burridge, who used his experience as 2022 College Singles Champion and 2021 US Amateur Champion to secure the win. Evan Smith's one-shot lead going into the final round was not enough, and he finished just behind Burridge. With his impressive forehand game, Burridge showed why he's a force to be reckoned with in disc golf.
