welcome to another edition of this week in disc golf it's april 21st 2021 i'm charlie eisenhood and let's break down what happened this past week well we had our first major of the 2022 season four majors this year first up the pdga champions cup it's a brand new major tournament that was just created started for the first time this year and it was held at w.r jackson the course outside of the international disc golf center for the pga chris dickerson and paige pierce are your champions let's take a look at how it all went down look at the trophy at the pdga champions cup and early on the big guns doing work calvin heinberg smashing this drive all the way past the cameraman and then in on 18 for the eagle to finish his day at 10 under par just one shot off the lead meanwhile ricky wysocki on 14 gets the roller down and he's got an eagle look from the edge of the circle bang in for the eagle he would be in a great position at the end of the round as well chris dickerson meanwhile beautiful shot right to the basket and he would be in the mix after the first round as well day two the putts were reigning in from deep heimberg dickerson and how about a little raptor legs yes sir some very strong play so we head to the final round and it's those three guys in a battle ricky and dickerson tied at the top on the 15th ricky finds a tree cannot believe it heimberg at this point just one shot back these guys have been battling all round long bysaki came into the round with a one shot lead heimberg looking good but finds the skinny branch and it kicks him way off the fairway dickerson in a better position on the fairway power forehand oh fantastic stuff from chris dickerson and that was his second straight birdie on to 17. anheuser beautiful inside the circle this for birdie to take a two-shot lead he does it and so he heads into the 18th with a two-stroke lead and able to play conservatively taps it in and that makes him a two-time major champion a little love from calvin and chris dickerson hoist the trophy let's hear from him after the tournament you know...
