growing up watching disc golf it's like the holy grail of rounds you want to play is final round lead card world championships the world's in my mind is the major it's something that no one can ever take away from you you know you're a world champion and you're a world champion for life i didn't know what i was capable of yet so i wasn't really expecting to win the world championship nervous sweaty palms walking up to it and knowing like oh my gosh this is like moments away from becoming reality all of it matters like more than anything you can have these weekends of pure execution where everything is clicking and then you can walk away with something that'll change your career that moment of brief perfection just sustains you and you just hungry for those moments as often as possible worlds was the first major i ever played and being at the top of the leaderboard it just really kind of expanded my perspective and gave me incentive to push myself harder you got to grow it from a little spark into an inferno you know you want to get better and keep doing better and bring the best game you can possibly bring to the world championships that's when you want to peak in the season is at the worlds the difference between playing good at worlds and winning worlds that's i mean that's just a whole other ball game there's a lot of pressure winning the world there's a lot of pressure from the disc golf community but more so there's a lot of pressure that i put on myself because i know where my game's at what i'm playing for now is to cement myself in disgust history i am trying to give the girls that are just coming up a bar to surpass just because i've done it before doesn't mean it's guaranteed it's crazy to think that i'm going for six but i know i can put in the work and go out there and get my game where it should be and where i know it can be i want to continue to prove to myself that i'm supposed to be here yeah it's the one i want
