The Preserve Championship | Welcome Back to Cale Leiviska's Airborn Disc Golf Preserve

Join Cale Leiviska as he welcomes you back to his Airborn Disc Golf Preserve in Minnesota, a course that has undergone significant changes since its release last year. With 50 acres of wooded forested land now part of the preserve, Cale was able to balance out the blackberry course and introduce new technical elements. This video showcases the updates made to the front nine holes, including tweaked existing holes and brand-new additions. The course has been particularly affected by the severe drought in Minnesota, leading Cale to incorporate a vibrant red mulch throughout the fairways and greens to add color contrast and brighten up the landscape. With its natural beauty and challenging design, the Airborn Disc Golf Preserve is a must-visit destination for disc golf enthusiasts.

there is some significant changes especially on the front nine last year we when we released the golf course itself um you know for the most part pretty open this winter we were actually able to lease another 50 acres that was mostly like wooded forested land that was important for me for making the blackberry course to kind of have a little more balance i thought that that's kind of what the the course was missing once we got this this new lease i was able to tweak some of the existing holes and then add some completely new holes that definitely have some more wooded you know technical elements we're in like one of the most severe droughts in minnesota history and i mean to other people the course probably still looks beautiful but to me just seeing all like the dead grass and yellow fairways and stuff i just it just kills me so that's why we went just overboard with the red mulch just to create more color contrast and kind of like brighten things up even though like a lot of the grass is dying right now and so we definitely went overboard but yeah definitely thought it would spruce things up a little bit you
