welcome back everyone to disc golf network's coverage of the open at belton we are here for the third and final round i'm nathan queen again joined by chandler frye hello everybody we have chris dickerson building himself a pretty sizable lead of six strokes but the wind has returned making for some very tricky course conditions absolutely we've got back to that 20 mile an hour wind range ricky wysocki here is gonna have to deal with the right to left wind to start the round rather than left to right we got calvin heinberg and uh no stranger to the wind we have emerson keith one of the best texas players of all time yeah here's our leaderboard you see chris dickerson out here with that six stroke lead and four players right behind him in second so very tight battle uh for that second place spot and with the wind today uh definitely a chance to overtake chris in hole one we see the opposite of what it was the first round on on that windy day we have a pretty strong right to left wind so players are going to be shooting way wide right and having the wind push it back towards the basket to give himself hopefully a short putt yeah the miss play here is going to be getting it too flat i doubt we'll see much of that all these players have enough power to throw straight hyzer here or letting the wind grab your disc too much get your nose angle too high it will pick it up and carry it much further left than you'd like and here we have chris stickers you can see the wind ripping those flags right now and being first on the card is somewhat of a nervy shot you you are the wind dummy so every other player on the card is watching chris right now to see what his disc does yeah these players definitely have an idea of what's going to happen but that first throw of the day is always kind of a a good thing to watch especially if you get it off right for chris here this looks to be going a little left it has gone too far left he ends up ob on the left side he's gonna have a long circle to look to save his...
