welcome back everyone to disc golf network's coverage of the open at belton round one back 9 coverage the first disc golf pro tour silver's silver series stop of the year i'm nathan queen again joined by chandler frye hello everybody we had some early struggles on the front nine from our card mostly due to the win conditions it is very breezy out there we got brody smith leading the card at four down doing exceptionally well with zero bogeys yeah adam and ricky both guarding a single bogey and paul with the unfortunate triple bogey with the two ob strokes on hole four and that brings us into hole 10 726 feet with a strong right to left wing here today you've got ob down the right side and the left side uh dole off of the t get close to 400 feet or more for these players they've got lots of power but if you can get that 400 feet you're gonna have a good opportunity to approach this green keep your shot low enough underneath these branches to get into this well-guarded basket that you have here keep that shot low and avoid the trees at the end and you should have a pretty good chance of getting the birdie that right to left wind though was ripping probably about 20 miles per hour and it was moving a lot of discs out of bounds to the left yeah uh four right-handed players here so having the bottom flight plate exposed to that wind is going to lift it up and push it a lot further and paul giving us a master class on how to throw win shots with a right to left beautiful that's still pushing pretty far left but uh inbounds and adam looking to follow paul a little heiser a bit more turn on it but that should be traveling back right into the middle of the fairway yeah and a great shot from adam there this is one of those kind of tricky situations where you have such a strong right to left that if you throw just a straight hyzer it's going to pick up and go ob left side but you don't really want to throw a turnover because it could grab the top flight plate and turn it over a lot quicker than you expect also so a...
