welcome back to Tournament Central Nate Perkins here and we have a special interview with your Jonesboro open Champion Kristen Tatar Kristen thanks so much for joining us here on the set of TC pretty special week for you you you you you just said to me off camera that that you're feeling pretty happy um second win of the year and I want to I want to kind of dive in on you know some of the adversity that you face because too often from the outside looking in with your game it it looks easy but from your perspective what are what are some of the challenges that you've faced on the course this week well thank you um it's a huge compliment uh to take in that you you're saying that it looks easy um I try to look at it make it look easy but uh inside I'm I'm just a normal uh athlete in person trying to face the same TR struggles that everybody is and um this week I mean I I guess this year it's it's just been a little different for me uh I've had so many like successful years prior so it's it's always hard to come back and like follow up and I do admit that I have been a little bit more anxious than I should have and this week I was just trying to tell myself to like go back to the basics just enjoy golf do what you can give your best in that moment and that's all you can do and also um I feel like I've been a little bit uh hard on myself so I I told myself that I cannot say anything bad about my throwing doesn't matter what I do on the course uh I made a pack with myself so no matter what I did I I was kind to myself and I I think it worked that's hard as the athlete to to limit the selft talk I know that that's the that's the first place that the Mind goes is you're you're so bad you you you're terrible how could you do that uh I want to ask you where do you feel like that extra anxiety comes from is it is it just from trying to ma match the expectation that you set for yourself last year or...
