joining us now it's a very special guest a mover and Shaker in the world of disc golf for quite some time the brains behind the great Maple Hill dis Golf Course the brains behind the disc golf pro tour Steve Dodge thank you for joining us you told me a while back that your dream was to create something where you could sit back on the weekends and watch disc golf live and clearly we've done that I want you to give from your perspective how is that going this season H how is watching disc golf live going for you this year uh well first of all um I thank you very much Brian great to see you again Nate uh and it's really nice to be on Tournament Central one of my favorite television programs period uh how I'm not I'm not joking uh Jess knows after the round is over we're we're GNA stay tuned in because I want to watch what you guys have to say you help frame the whole conversation and the whole the whole uh event and then you broaden it out to the whole season it's it's gen genuinely fun to watch um this season has been really fun to watch watching Anthony Barella develop into a genuine threat week in week out Ganon bur is still obviously doing Ganon bur things um and it'll be fun watching uh the Old Guard the Ricky and the Paul and uh Eagle being joining him coming up uh a lot of story lines and it's really fun not having any idea who's going to win the Tour points like we just have no clue and it's super duper fun and I didn't even mention Calvin so the number one arguably the number one player in the world um and then to have women from from five different countries who were born in five different countries win the first five events like who saw that coming um the parody on the women's side has grown so fast and uh it's really fun thinking that there are uh teenagers across the world watching these women compete these women are setting the low bar for what those girls are going to be doing in five years and it it's I I'm really really excited uh every weekend sitting at home except for this weekend uh but...
