hello everyone and welcome back to live disc golf the off season is over as we kick off the 2024 disc golf pro tour Allstar Weekend in Brooksville Florida let's take a look at the distance competition rules each player will get six total throws three throws in round one then three throws in round two the throw must land inbounds and no rollers allowed this year now keep in mind we'll watch all of our competitors throw three shots and then during round number two the person who had thrown the shortest will lead off and they'll go in that order so the longest throw during round one will have the advantage to go last in round two and right up the Fairway no problem here and that was a low like you're saying up the Fairway that was a low golf shot they want to get something under stable like Nate said Heiser flip get it up in the air turn it over and then Heiser out at the end that's how they're going to get that full maximum distance allowing the disc to maneuver all those different shot shapes through the air that was a beautiful shot I would imagine that she she rode the wind perfectly now she's got the spotlight on her she's the one to be in a distance competition and she's got six throws to keep her name at the top you you when you look at her throw she's just one good throw away from from being 30 40 50 ft Beyond even Ella she's that close to to getting up over 500 here it's a really unique style but really good power 491 and elzra is going to need to get past 497 put any pressure on Ella Hansen that's it it looks like she's gone over 500 53 ft and we have a new best throw out of elzra and the difference here for her look at how low she kept it that low power allowed the disc to flip over a little more got over that 500 Ella Hansen have enough to claim the distance title it's going to be close and it looks like it might be a few feet short we'll get the official reading wow what a nice effort on that final throw 495 8 away goodness so close Ellie Ezra your Champion here in the...
