hello everyone I'm Paul Ulibarri I'm joined by Nate Perkins together we're bringing you commentary for round one coverage half the course plays overlooking the Brazos River we got some limestone Bluffs that looking looking down onto the course the other half of the course place in some of the tightest woods we play up all year long all right hole one par-3 291 feet this today was playing extremely windy windy till when the whole entire way you're gonna see a lot of people going outside right with wide Heiser's and it was so windy that a lot of people are actually feeling comfortable going up the middle which is quite surprising yeah you really don't see anyone practicing the up the middle shot I mean when we had practice we had a pretty pretty soft headwind and so the hyzer was like standard play but with this ripping tail when it definitely makes you think on this tee and we'll see what germy opts for yeah and he's going for that straight shot just to kind of keep it low blooping in bounds and that's just displaying all sorts of skills so much touch I really don't know anyone else that has that much touch with the forehand that's it that's an understable mid-range that he just flicked into that tailwind we have Brian Earhart as they announce him Brian your heart is an up-and-coming player he's been playing a long time but just kind of came up on the scene after the Memorial Championship yeah eighth place finish on his you know Pro Tour debut for 2019 that's an incredible finish I mean anytime you're in the top ten at the Memorial you know that you racked up a lot of birdies over there and it is to be mentioned that he actually had an injury the day before breaking his big toe on his plant foot so he's gonna be in some pain it'll be interesting to see him play and see how he got you know does trying to get through that pain Erik Oakley pulls that right and that was the play that a lot of people were scared from you know that's why they were going up the middle is because if you got it wide too wide it was just gonna get slammed out of bound and we see Erik kind of...
