and welcome to par save productions shot-by-shot coverage of the 2018 ledgestone Insurance Open provided by disk craft this is the eighth Pro Tour event of the season we are here on hole one hole one is a par four 633 feet over the edge of the water this is the dam of the lake the baskets located quite close to the water there as well first on a tee we have nikola castro haven't seen too much of Nico towards the middle part of the season but good to see him back here playing well here in the middle of the summer and he has a big drive that he pulled a little bit too far to the right we can't tell if that's OB or not we'll find out we have Garrett girthy out of Florida big throwing Garrett girthy Garrett takes the ultra-aggressive shot here cutting off most of the water and putting his disc inbounds right near the circle too you know this is a great first hole in the sense that there's a lot of risk reward and fun for the fans to watch we have Jerry Patton here Gary's a local player out of Illinois playing here in this this featured type group here in the first round gary has a nice shot there putting himself in perfect position for a nice up shot last but very not least we have our 2017 US disc golf champion Nate sex and good friend of mine out of Oregon but currently traveling with his wife Bree and daughter Cora and he throws a sidearm that's the safe play I think that's a smart shot for him first of all the tournament in bounds we can see that nico did end up OB and his disk went out quite far back calls for it to get up puts himself a little bit short in between circle one and circle two there's Nate Nate ends up a little bit short as well what it's hard to tell in the video but this is an extremely uphill shot Nate might have even barely had much of a view of the basket but it's just it's it's a tough shot Gary's got a little bit of a better angle puts it inside the circle with the tough putt heading towards the water Garrett this is nothing more than just an...
