corey ellis on the 10th and just like that welcome everyone to the 2022 jonesboro open we're going to follow up that birdie with a look by thomas gilbert on fire here in round number one he's sitting at eight under after the birdie on 16. and if that's not a welcome to jonesborough i don't know what is the way from the excited gallery and crowd out there behind the tee of hole number one as i said we're here in the beautiful arkansas state of arkansas in jonesboro we're at the disc side of heaven closest to the pin for the young man gannon burr great tee shot like the angle that calvin's put on this and i think he's gonna like it as well just accepting par here on hole number two for mcmahon vinnie here on four is a very difficult sloping green away from the players and boy what a shot from vinnie beautiful side of hole number four here's why saki trying to get up and down to save the par yeah he threw a really nice second shot putting himself in position to just chip it up and uh that's why he's the defending champion kevin attempting there could you tell us definitively and how bad is that shot yeah doss was correct there he's going for the flex shot out to the right and kev is actually not in a horrible spot he's safe out on the right side and is gonna have a little less than 300 into the pin though terry back on five paul macbeth went on to double bogey a five on hole number five this is a par three and these players are laying up and accepting par that best yeah yeah kevin jones on the other hand looking for so much more than just a layup and he hits it finds the green kevin jones deep of the basket on hole five incredible shot he's not at a hundred percent that was a shot he would normally be able to throw in his sleep here's waisaki you can just see the advantage that ricky able to throw a really overstable disc and just the wind not a factor burr going to the forehand as well and that's a park job for gannon burr yeah so for perspective kevin jones tee shot went to the far right...
