Round 1 Highlights, MPO | Des Moines Challenge

good afternoon everyone and welcome to the des moines challenge we're at pickard park in indianola iowa and well these aren't the views we're seeing at the moment beautiful look at iowa and what it has to offer but this afternoon we're going to flip the script just for a few minutes we're going to see that lightning is everywhere taking place in the entire greater des moines area and we are currently on a lightning and weather delay thanks to our friends over at gatekeeper media we've done lizette's action from today here he is on hole number four and ricochet off the tree no problem he'd go on to birdie that and then on the very next whole five this morning we saw a few players go straight up the middle at it and we saw a few hyzer attempts none were as good as this one simon lazzotte just beyond the basket and on the two holes later hole number seven from inside the hexagon he converts on the birdie look his third shot on hole number 10 into the slope is completed here today you see how sunny and bright and beautiful it is at that moment lacing it up the right side tunnel and simon lizat in position there for the birdie he would go ahead and capitalize and make it and right now he has thrown two shots on hole number 18. we're also looking at our overall leader board at the moment matt aurum he did get all the way into the clubhouse he's your leader at 11 under 20 birdies it's hard for me to not notice the knee brace on brody and what a shot there from him and ganonberg converts this is about as good as it gets the winner from last weekend with the best tee shot of the group and also this best second shot of the group ricky wysocki looking strong i know there was a lot of talk what a shot that is perfect folks there's really no better spot than that now on the tf4 brody smith four is a behemoth 472 feet over water and right at circle's edge and he started with four straight pars and then rattled off just you know basically birdieing out uh minus a couple bars uh there at the latter half of the round oh what a shot...
