From the Paris of the South, the Disc Golf Pro Tour makes its debut in New Orleans for the MVP Disc Sports Big Easy Open presented by Flight Factory. We are at Park de Fami in Jefferson Parish just south of New Orleans proper at the brand new Grand Cypress Bayou. Ganon Burr out on the course right now. He's at the 15th sitting at three under putting for a birdie. Circle's edge for a share of the lead. And this is exactly what I'm talking about. I had a hourong conversation with Ganon telling me this is the hardest course I've ever played. I don't know how we're going to score on it. Well, there you go, Ganon. It's been a fantastic day so [music] far. Six birdies for Ganon. Did take the double bogey on the 13th. We'll see what he can do in [music] the final three holes as he tries to close out a strong opening round. Joey Buckets tied [music] for the lead with Ganon Burr. And some kind of exciting names under par today. Got to trust this out over the out- of-bounds area. You see the feather banners blowing in the background. in for the opening birdie. >> Get some ground play. It's been a little rare to see out here as we head to the 18th. James Conrad. Maximum space for James. >> He started on the concrete. [laughter] >> Somebody clipped this. What a shot from James. If every teapad was this size, >> he would be unstoppable. >> That'd be a lot of bake sales to raise that money, Charlie. Nicely done, Solen. Typton in for the birdie on the third. Bird to close out his day with a bogey. Once again, that's a good score. It's par here on 18 effectively >> and he puts it in. He will lose a share of the lead. Mattio for a long distance par.
