Our competitors are welcomed to Arkansas with rolling hills and open fairways. With the year's first major behind us, some are setting new goals while others are still in the hunt for their first taste of victory. It's round one of the 2026 played against sports Jonesboro Open presented by Westside Disc. Yakoup Seamarad on the 15th. Do the same thing. Get down. Get down. Hit down and just deep. He'd go on to make the birdie. And so impressive coming off of the eagle on the previous hole on the 14th. So a very clean, good looking eight under through 15 right now. >> Wow. You see how the wind was playing with that 520 downhill into a 25 mph headwind. And man, would this be a nice birdie? >> Yes, sir. Great start. >> And he'll stay at double digits. A 10 under opening round effort by Yakub Samurro. That puts him three shots clear of the next closest scores. Gossich going with his second shot. His basket's touched back a little bit more than it used to be. Okay. What a fantastic drive to put him here for a second. Oh, and just over the top. Someone's going to dunk it today. I feel like that's the only line is to actually run the basket. Oh, even closer. That's a beauty from Calvin. Calvin ended up in an okay spot. Just a slightly low ceiling to deal with. putters looked really good for Heimberg. So, >> hole nine, a par three. This used to be a par4. So, now the players are forced to throw from kind of a conservative landing zone. This is a tough green. >> You saw he was less than two feet from hitting into the hazard area when that skipped up.
