Well, welcome back to the Disc Golf Network, everybody. You are witnessing the debut of doubles [music] right here on the Disc Golf Pro Tour. It is the Doubles Championship presented by Simon Line. We are just downstream from the headwaters of the mighty Mississippi, broadcasting live from Clearwater, Minnesota. >> [music] >> It's The Preserve. You know it, you love it. You're about to watch some of the best doubles action we've ever seen on the Disc Golf Pro Tour. We're going to get right into the action. >> [screaming] >> It's Niklas Anttila. He's teamed up with Gavin Babcock after a bogey on 10. He's going to dunk it. >> The best way to bounce back. >> We're going to take a look at the rules of this event now. And reminder, this is for full Elite Series points. Rounds one and two, best shot. And then round three, modified alternate shot. After >> [music] >> the round today, Filo, the players have to determine who will tee off on what hole. >> Going to make things interesting, that's for sure. A lot of strategy going on on the third round. Got to get it done the first two days, give yourself a chance. >> Casey White has already missed his putt for birdie, I believe. And here's Maedio. Call it 45 ft. Slight tailwind over his left shoulder. >> At the moment, if they get to 15, they would have a two-stroke advantage over their nearest competitors, third place. >> [cheering] >> BANG! >> THAT'S A FIRST DOWN FOR MAEDIO. Maedio and Casey White eagled the opening hole. They were seven under through their first six holes. >> This is definitely an angle he'd like to take a stab at it.
