welcome to the 2023 Innova open at the 28th Annual Texas State disc golf championships that's a long name and this is an event that so far is absolutely living up to it in Houston Texas at Brock Park Disc Golf Course Ezra with the luxury of being able to throw that a lot slower oh okay yeah that's that's the shot Grant all the way around Burge in for the birdie good start for the Texan a tricky forehand it plays a little bit uphill but there's also the low ceiling and the grass is really not that Skippy up here kind of hits and digs just like that beautiful forehand Robert let's jump over to double G Garrett girthy at four blind par three you really have to trust this shot okay that's trust wow yes he did Grant beautiful that's the shot there from Calvin for his third birdie in the opening five holes okay I'm sure he was very happy to put that disc in his bag when he switched over here's Calvin a little bit different line a little bit more hyzer out of the hand less stall and still works and there's the putt we were talking about yeah that was just beautiful Anthony Barella will be first to throw can't even see the basket it's seemingly I say seemingly it's a fifth of a mile away and we may get a chance to see and hear just how far these drives go that was huge there it is got it and that moves Robert Burridge to two under par while we await our final to tee off there we'll look ahead we're on 11 now sick shot dude that was Joel Freeman's second oh wow with Joel Freeman now on the 13th a short par three relatively speaking to 82. oh that's just fine and now for birdie oh boy that's gotta ride back and it does and a b now interesting to see him go buzz 282. he's going to down Tempo this throw it real soft there you go yeah just like that Joel Freeman birdie at 15. he's just managed a couple of good putts one of which earned him a birdie that was pretty unlikely and there he sits meanwhile Robert Burridge here for birdie Calvin heinberg will putt next we go to Joel Freeman on the 17th his...
