in 1974 in Rochester New York Jim Paul Mary had a vision and a dream to put on the biggest and best disc golf tournament there was and 50 years later we are still celebrating that exact same event it is Jim palmieri's 50th American flying disc open presented by Dynamic Discs and throwing out the celebratory first throw the man himself Jim Palmieri Paul Marion one yeah wow we'll Flex Brian Mark the Fairway hit on you disc thank you very much 81 years old if you haven't seen him play it's a little bit different than how most played disc golf this man is all power sidearm all Tomahawk all the time yeah that's ideal Bobby has been a PDGA member since 1985 PDGA 3087 plenty of pace needs to check up and it does up floater right there Brian all the way back in 07 these guys have been good forever that's a really cool stat that must have been one of the first few European opens yes sir you have to fade in front of that grouping of trees if you if you want to look and I haven't quite seen just at the edge of circle two now for Matteo oh he's really spinning it he's prioritizing that over the pure speed and now GT Hancock up ahead yeah these little saplings make it difficult he's having to go over the top of them and front side of the circle there from the straddle again oh yeah it makes the correction that's a quality birdie right there on the fourth that's right with a little window here at least 340 into the green yeah feeds it through the Gap right there Ezra on the board how Rock's second shot I'm gonna go with this wide anhyzer and just slides it into the circle what Connor is actually doing right here you know if the t-pad should be the surface that we feel the safest throwing from as we take a moment of silence for this park job by Connor Rock and look at the positioning here he's far enough left he's just going Kaiser into the green and that's going to be another 15-footer for Matteo for a birdie Ezra forced to hit one of these little gaps oh and Pierce it he's from the southeast gaps are no problem now monaboo for birdie there...
