Well, after a thrilling start to the 2026 season, we have arrived to the first major, the PDGA Champions Cup presented by Vessie. We are in Lynchburg, Virginia in Bedford County at New London Tech. One of the most challenging Woods courses in the world awaits the players here for round one. I believe is on a better side of the left side of the fairway to give herself room to flex that disc right. >> And she puts it under the basket >> further into the course. >> It's about 380 ft from the edge of that OB to the pin at the first. Eveina. >> Wow. >> So smart fairway play from Missy. Eveina taking the left gap. We'll see that a little >> less often. And that's a 15-footer. Beautiful from Ganon. >> Perfect. The best shot I've seen today. >> Well, first Elite Series or Major of the Year for Maine. Now cameras watch it. takes the alternative fairway but gets to the landing zone. To land in the middle of this fairway is one of the hardest shots. >> See the rocks shaping up the out of bounds area. >> She's going to go straight at it. Watching Silva and Silva's going to be just outside of Bullseye. Would expect her to make it from there. She worked so much on the putt in the offse. Missy in for birdie. You see Ganon now joins the leaders at three under par with three birdies in a row. So here's the birdie putt for Maine again.
