we're at the regulator the brand new course in Burlington North Carolina for the 2023 United States women's disc golf championships and I think a player like henna has a great opportunity she's so controlled mandahano and I love the sound effects from her group the Estonian tease off on hole number one low Line Drive okay and nearly perfect for Kristen to get started Huey took down this event last year after not playing very many tournaments now her game looks the best it ever has and of course our champion from last weekend at the MVP open an even bigger bomb coming from our reigning champ Haley King getting through those first initial trees because look at that elevation drifting from left to right downhill absolutely beautiful from Missy Gannon we saw the approach by Hannah this is her look for birdie and from two knees no problem for henna Hano trying to get to two under three four and connects on the birdie great start for Valerie she's dealing with something mandahano pushing left side oh yeah Hannah tracking right toward the basket smooth and confident for Haley King as she picks up the birdie again had her disc landed maybe where her right foot is right now she would be considered perfect the king simple approach he makes it look simple king with a birdie look to move to three under and left side chain brings it in heading back to henna this is her second shot on the par 5. gets it to flip up it's gonna kick left and henna off to an incredible start that's the hottest start of all competitors she's four under through six and already tied for the lead after just six holes stand still forehand off the tee this has more height that's going to track off to the right side and I'll give her a look for birdie at circle's Edge so she can give this full commitment trying to get her first birdie and she knew it Haley couldn't have placed it in a better spot and attacked the pit wow goes along and she'll have that left for an eagle for eagle never a doubt Haley King with an easy eagle so smooth of an approach from henna which had to go over the pond and continue a technical shot in the woods thank you Scoggins...
