hello everyone and welcome to the European open we're here for the fpo feature card coverage round one front nine Terry Miller the disc golf guy alongside Hannah Macbeth Hannah we're in Europe we're watching disc golf it's a PDGA major is it getting better than this I can't believe we're finally here and kick things off hole number one a part three at 322 feet goes slightly downhill so right away some challenges here for the players there's an elevated basket which is a new theme for the European open this year and there's also that triple Mando right off the tee you want to find something straight to slightly overstable in your bag especially for those right hand backhanded players go about 250 feet straight before you fade down to the left and that green is quick as you said the new feature the elevated basket there's going to be a couple of them out here this year making things that much more difficult when you get close to it yeah and most of the time commentators will say what speed disc you want whether it's a mid-range putter or whatever but honestly for this whole just throw whatever you're most comfortable with this is the first hold the day and starting off her first ever European open Kona konopanus great line look how quick that green is and at 322 you're really looking to throw this probably at about 270 maybe 280 come in a little bit short let the skip do the work it's already dragging slightly downhill page Pierce yeah I didn't get that turnover off the tee a little bit of a different line route and too many trees to contend with a similar story there for Evelina thank you and representing Estonia we have Anna Lee keeping that wide coming back to the Fairway not the best start for three out of our four competitors but still plenty of beasts to contend with to get upset about and something to quickly make note of the all of the t's and all the pins are the exact same for both fpo and mpo competitors at this event and at this course great approach shot there by Evelina this is a good window into the elevation it's much better to see from this angle nice upshot from analei finally I think it's only I'm gonna...
