if you're fortunate enough or you know skilled enough whichever you want whichever way you want to look at it to start picking up a couple birdies in a row and everything's feeling good I mean I'm not really thinking about anything I'm just sort of supremely confident that I can birdy the next hole and the next hole and the next hole and until you get surprised and can't do it you just kind of keep going and then you know take it from there but it's just you don't have to think much when you're playing really well you limit thoughts that's like so if you're just feeling it to me I I just kind of tune everything out and just stay really present stay in the moment who cares what you did four holes ago it really doesn't matter it's all about it's the cliche it's all Tak the one shot at a time but it really is the truth and when you're feeling in the zone it's like just right it as long as you can try to not get distracted not talk about what's going on I grew up playing with the legend Nate Doss and he always taught me that no matter what happens good or bad Ace or bogey try to stay relaxed try to stay even Keel don't get too excited when you do something good and don't get too angry when you do something bad it's the hardest thing to do and you have to when things are going really great you have to just step up and just go because you know that your body your muscles everything are are so perfectly in tune that if you get your brain in the way you you're going to you're destined for failure that's the thing that you're always thinking well is this happening because of is this lucky or whatever it might be you have to stand there and say no I'm doing this because I prepared myself to do it I'm ready to go and really that's what it is um basically what the zone is is no thoughts and feeling like you're the only one out there you know everyone's here to watch you and and you're putting on a show so so it's basically just stepping up to every shot Nothing in Your Mind knowing you're going to...
