hello everybody and welcome to disc golf network's coverage of the open at tallahassee in beautiful sunny tallahassee florida i am chandler frye and i am joined here today by thomas gilbert excited to be here chandler we've got some amazing coverage at the tom brown disc golf course here in tallahassee a really really fun track they've modified this course a little bit from their normal 24 hole layout we have an awesome star-studded card with us today yeah we got mattio barely holding onto his glasses right there as you saw garrett gerthy mason ford from texas and the young wonder kid ganon burr yeah lots of talent on the car today and we're gonna jump right into hole one par three 355 feet you have this mandatory tree on the right and this ob line running down the entire fairway basket is on this hillside kind of sloping down and you really just want to kind of throw a shot that kind of lands between this tree and the basket is going to be your safe play yeah there was a solid right to left wind that was happening throughout the day so the play that uh is probably the best choice would be a sidearm down the left side finishing right and hopefully not skipping too far into the out of bounds area first on the t we have garrett gerthy one of the og's on tour remember since 1998 um one of my favorite players to watch one of the longest throwers on tour and one of the most colorful with that shirt absolutely yeah it looks like he's gonna be going with his silvia color glow rock three he feels really comfortable this testament to run it for a long time and i gotta mention if you haven't had some double g jerky check it out he has some tasty tasty jerky out there and this looks fantastic okay some height wow big wind lift there but oh just lifts it just barely too far and that'll be out of bounds but he'll have a circle's edge putt coming back to the park yeah a bit unfortunate with that wind right there let's see if maddie can correct off of garrett's wind read oh what a colorful individual one of my favorite players to watch as well i'm from creole alabama currently ranked number...
