Maria Oliva here is her shot at the 10th from just inside Circle one great putt from Maria just the second birdie of the day at the 10th Maria Oliva pures that Gap Maria Oliva her drive on 17 put her here this is on 16. you get much better than that shot but well outside Circle one in fact oh barely that is nice to see so thankfully we don't have four long putts for Maria that look like they're gonna go in and then somehow find a way not to wait here on the 10th and now Maria Oliva coming off the bogey dangerously close to that right side OB but she does oh wow hover along it and come back in left on the safe side she also got a lot of distance with that well 15 is our Island hole it's only 215 feet Maria Oliva the trick here is having the correct height so that you can get over the railroad ties That Define the green good strength solid putt fairly aggressive play getting that up in the air oh and she just gets past the green that was a very good shot of quite a difficult shot that took a lot of power and a lot of intellect to know just what line to put that on to have it come back and not fade towards the green Barn something truly bizarre Deanne and Sarah both should be locked into tomorrow's lead card safe little approach there for Maria of course also secure in her positioning for the lead card tomorrow foreign your leader that bodes well for Maria's round great shot this is another hole that has a very low ceiling Maria did a good job of using all of the available height on that hole and getting it nearly pin High doesn't get much better than that hits the lock on the way past the basket maybe a foot now Maria Oliva beautiful drive good distance used all of the available height there I'll leave it with her third on the par five that is absolutely fine she is past the green which was the only danger there played that relatively conservatively she should be able to get up and down quite easily from there not waiting at all Maria Oliva your winner of the 2022 New World Championship her first ever...
