Holyn Handley's COURSE RECORD at Bad Rock Creek | 2025 Kansas City Wide Open
Watch as Holyn Handley sets a course record at the 2025 Kansas City Wide Open. The driving categories have been tough for OW players this year, but Holland shines in her division. With a strategic approach to building the green and playing it safe on her second shot, she takes the lead with a birdie on the back nine. Handley's precision is on display as she sinks putts from tricky spots, including a challenging two-putt that requires her to hug the hole tight due to a slight headwind. With only 11% of players achieving this particular birdie, Holland's skill and focus are evident in every shot. The tour's layout seems to have been designed perfectly, with just the right distance to create a perfect skip onto the green. As she continues to build her lead, it's clear that Holyn Handley is a force to be reckoned with at the Kansas City Wide Open.

Driving categories have been pretty rough for OW this year. It's been the scramble and the putting that's been really saving her. Holland on the other hand is killing people in the driving categories except for really Kristen. Holland in it's always going to be easier to get the disc in the basket than putting the ball in the hole in traditional golf. And I really think building the green strategically is how we're going to get there. So Holland pretty conservative with her second shot. I would assume it's because she wants to be kind of on the same playing field as the basket. And there you go. Back to seven. Andley and that'll do just fine for Holland. That's a nice birdie. She's now three under, one shot off the lead. I think giving players two days to practice two different locations is tough, but I do like them. It's now even par for Merch. Holland a little on that right side, but catches chains. He'd rather miss on the right than the left. Got to hug it tight. So, this is that tough putt we're talking about. Slight headwind. It's died a little bit since Missy putted there. Knocks it down and has the solo lead, at least for the moment. I think bad guys in the alley might be waiting over there. I hope not. Holland. That's fine. I was thinking before it was going to have to be a backhand, but this is nice. Beautiful shot from Handley. Just 11% of players getting the birdie here. Averaging more than a half stroke over par. So cool to see how much energy they put into this place. and really a a treat to see it reach the tour. Holland looking set up for another birdie. It's got to go. And in that spot, we've seen a lot of misses. Just a little short of that water and not enough to get the skip up onto the green. It's like a foot and a half wide. And I've seen so many players forehands hitting it. That to me says that the hole is laid out perfectly. The distance is just at the right point. So her disc is going to come in with pace and get that good skip back to the left. Always wanted to see how far one of those could get. Now Holland. That...
