FPO Round 4, Front 9: Discraft's Green Mountain Championship
Watch as Sarah Holcomb maintains her four-stroke lead at the FPO Round 4, Front 9 of the Discraft's Green Mountain Championship. The field is closing in, with Katrina Allen and Jessica Lewis five strokes back, while Valerie Jenkins trails by six. At hole 1, Brewster Ridge, the competitors face a 315-foot par-3 with a treacherous gap to navigate. Sarah Holcomb successfully birdies the hole, gaining an opportunity to extend her lead over Katrina Allen. Meanwhile, Pierce is struggling to make a move, and Valerie Jenkins' round gets off to a tough start. As the players take on the 550-foot par-4 at hole 2, strategy comes into play. The group must navigate around obstacles, including OB lining the right side of the fairway, and accurately place their drives and approaches. welcome to round for everybody hole 1 at Brewster Ridge Sarah Holcomb has a four stroke lead over Katrina Allen Jessica Lewis and Valerie Jenkins are five back page Pierce is 6 back you can see the basket just through those trees this is a 315 foot par 3 you just want to pure that gap get near that tree and hit your 30-foot putt Sarah Holcomb and Katrina Allen have set themselves up very nicely for that 30-foot putt as does Jessica we sees a little bit right Valarie Jenkins who starts the day five strokes back everybody's chasing Sarah right now that's the name of our show as Jessica watches Valerie and Katrina missed their birdie putts here is her birdie putt so Sarah Holcomb has an opportunity to gain a stroke on the field right now just short Katrina Allen for par Katrina is actually losing a stroke page Pierce birdies were moving on to hole 2 we advanced a whole to the 550 foot par for Sarah hokum still leads by 5 here's Sarah on the tee this shot this hole has OB lining the entire right side whatever you do you just want to keep it straight you don't want to go left because that cuts off your approach to the basket so you need to be in the fairway Sarah Holcomb with a very nice Drive Jessica we spors this thing a little bit of a foul CH that was a rough kick that was a mule that wanted to go somewhere else Valerie Jenkins puts it up Jessica Wiis is throwing well not converting so far but that's a good sign for her Valerie Jenkins goes off left she will also have a very tough look trying to get out of that the woods and then go up and down to save the park at Rina Allen with a gorgeous drive gets far far far down the fairway and she's gonna have a nice look to hole - Valerie's second shot on this 500 plus foot par-4 that trails off right stays in bounds but she's gonna have a very difficult up-and-down to save the par Katrina Allen's second shot is well short she's looking down the alley here's her third shot she wants to get this down that alley and then fade off to the right it goes off left she's got...
