my dad he's taught me pretty much everything i know i mean i don't know what i'd be doing if he never picked up disc golf rebecca cox she's a young gun we've been seeing her on leader cards all year long oh and what a shot by rebecca basket what a beauty that's a park job for rebecca cox rebecca here from cincinnati so just right up the road we're in burlington kentucky if you didn't know cincinnati is right on the border of ohio and kentucky this is a local park for rebecca being from just you know 20 minutes away or so all right here it comes oh i'll be honest with you at first it was if i wanted to go play i had to take a vega with me i started playing down in clearwater florida king climo was the two-time world champion at the time you know you got greg hossfield hussfield in orlando you had tom monroe becca started playing when she was about eight so a lot of things that she's learned came indirectly from those great players i would take her to the water a little water park across the street and then i would tell her that i had to run out to the car so she would be at the water park and then i'd run across the street and i would play nine holes and i would come back because remember i came back the one time and you were like in there crying the gal had your hand she was like dad where'd you go i just ran after the car usually when people pick it up it's not just like a hobby becomes like a part of their life yeah i definitely want to be where i am today without my dad or the navi at a young age she was beating a lot of the men in town um i mean at 13 years old i remember her beating me in tournaments back then go back to 2009 there wasn't a ton of women in cincinnati playing and she stood out she didn't really she never run up at first she just would like to take a couple of steps and throw now our next year rebecca we're going to teach you how to do a run up and i kid you not she walked...
