from. I'm Eagle McMahon, 18 years old from Boulder, Colorado. Just uh try to have a positive outlook. I mean, everywhere I go, it's just kind of um a really cool experience and I'm just really happy to be doing what I'm doing and uh just happy to be who I am and have a positive outlook. Uh I was nine years old and um my dad's friend actually got us into disc golf. Me and my dad at the same time. So just uh for the first few months it we took a kind of just basic disc golf, you know, game that we just went out to play. It was all fun and games and then got introduced to the power grip and then it was all on the up and up from there. Started playing local leagues and uh just built from there and uh here I am now. What really hooked me was, um, my mom died when I was nine, pretty much right when I got into disc golf. So, um, it just really kind of acted as something for me to bond with my dad. So, for a long time, that was kind of our thing. I think we played like, I don't know, 200 days in a row just together. So, it was really special. I think that's kind of what got me hooked, just spending time with my family. I mean, it was just kind of to keep my mind off of it really. I mean, just spending time with them, just bonding really, just trying to get better at something. Just really kind of took my mind off of all that was going on and I'm really grateful for the game coming into my life cuz I don't know what it would have been like without that. I mean, I could be traumatized. I think it really helped me get over that. I mean, we talk every day on the phone and he's my number one fan. So, he's always checking the scores and like telling me what he thinks I did wrong. I mean, he knows my game pretty much better than anyone else. So, I mean, just uh just him being the sports fan and father that he is, he's very analytical of my game and uh I don't know, it's just really special being able to talk to...
