disc golf's best stormed the course here at the nikkei memorial in rockwall texas but unfortunately mother nature had other things in mind welcome back to jomez productions coverage of the disc golf pro tour 2017 season i'm steve hill multi-world disc golf we're here at harry myers park for the nikai memorial taking a look at scores after round one young peter mcbride after a scorching hot 15 under par first round joined on league card by nate sexton paul macbeth and simon lazar and that's where we are going to kick off here on hole one and not the start the 20 year old from san luis obispo is looking for is he goes out of bounds on the first hole up next is sexton he sprays it the opposite direction in the foliage meanwhile paul macbeth after his 13 under par first round with the follow flight tracker is absolutely parked on hole one mcbride coming back in from out of bounds cannot convert sexton after pitching out of some trouble is also going to take a bogey macbeth takes the lone birdie on the card heading into hole two getting into a little trouble knocking right off of that tree no problem brings the nova back on a beautiful up shot and he's gonna be right today as we head into hole seven here's mcbride again getting into a little trouble off the tee hitting that tree but recovering with a beautiful bending up shot to save his par mazat meanwhile going to take the forehand route himself nearly puts it in the basket and he's gonna take yet another birdie just on an absolute roll so far through the first seven holes of this round and hanging the whole whole eight he's gonna keep it going just a short little hyzer skip around that tree to the circle's edge and no problem another birdie for lizat but he's going to look to improve on that birdie here on whole nine somehow missing all of these trees except for that last one gets a little love from the gallery because that's right in the circle for eagle it doesn't get much better than that here on hold 12 unleashing a massive hyzer again another shot right next to the basket where he has been living all day no problem he's 12 down through 12 and meanwhile...
