hey folks and welcome to the scramble a show where we try to recap all of the action that took place this past week on the disc golf pro tour my name is dustin marae and i'll be guiding you through all of the key moments that took place out on the course the disc golf pro tour kicked off this weekend with its first elite series event of the season the las vegas challenge presented by innova held at the breathtaking wild horse golf course in las vegas this four round competition features three distinct golf courses all of which present their own challenges to the players on the fpo side of things without question the story going into this event was the return of our international players after two years of covid related travel restrictions could chris and tatar keep up pace from what she showed us in north america last year could evelina and hannah carry over that top form in north america that's what we aim to find out in las vegas to kick off the event all eyes were on chris and tatara the number one player in the world according to the udis world rankings as she faced off against evelina henna and paige pierce on the feature card going into round number one to kick off our first round it was certainly exciting to see the fins back on north american soil for henna it was a bit of a cold start going even through the first 14 holes of the event however she managed to streak together three birdies in a row on the 15 through 17 stretch evelina had a very solid round keeping pace with many of our leaders on the day evelina managed to shoot a five under par including a bogey free back nine to land her on the chase card for day two to kick off her trip to vegas kristen tatar showed up with a bogey free six under par tying for third position and a spot on the lead card for our second round kristen tatar was able to tie paige pierce for first place in fairway hits at 80 percent and she only had a single ob penalty on the day now paige pierce showed up to vegas in a big way a bogey-free 8-under par that was rated over a thousand now not...
