wrapping a pretty incredible final day at the 2024 Dynamic Discs open is Tournament Central on the disc golf Network Grant zelner alongside your no Victor Calvin heimberg Calvin the weather today finally became a little bit more agreeable and the disc golf took off like a shot you were right there at the head of the field first of all it's been a while since I've gotten to sit here next to you and talk about a win how does it feel being back in the winter Circle uh it feels great you know to to finally be back in the winter Circle it's been over a year but um yeah I mean it just it feels great it feels great to close one out just a couple of hours ago sitting in that very seat Brian erhart talked about the need for somebody amongst that leading group to get out to a hot start you were the one who did so you jumped out to a seven for seven start and absolutely never looked back once you took the lead I'm not sure if you're a score watch watcher were you aware you had the lead and then how did that impact your decision- making the rest of the day if at all um yeah I I knew when I took the lead um because you know I'm playing with Rick I I know he was he was coming into the day he had the lead so I knew when I took the lead and honestly I didn't really check scores until 16 but I knew where I was relative to Rick just not the rest of the field but I I don't think it really changes your game plan you know you got a few holes right here at the finishing stretch where you know there can be two stroke swings really quick so no lead is really safe out here coming down the finishing stretch so it was it was pretty much pedal to the metal the whole time I know you've been dealing with a nagging injury you've been very patient very calculated and how you come back for that and what you choose to allow yourself to do was today a product of getting healthier was today a product of figuring some more ways to work around it or was it maybe a combination...
