well folks after a long weekend of disc golf here in beautiful California the 2024 OTB open brought to you by MVP dis Sports is complete and your no Champion is Calvin heberg winning his second dgpt event in a row Calvin joins me in the TC booth now Calvin great battle down the stretch how you feeling right now um I feel great you know it's it's always amazing feeling when you you can come away with the win um yeah still probably hasn't quite completely set in yet I don't think it ever really does initially you're just kind of in the moment but um I feel great you know it was great to to play and it was it was really it was really fun having it being super close there at the end where everything everything really mattered well yeah you were you were coming into the final day chasing by one stroke Gavin Rathbun in a spot that he's never been in before yeah do you like being in that chasing position clearly you'd like to be in the lead but is it kind of nice to be back one and not have the spotlight on you um I mean yeah I think I would always rather be leading but um you know I think maybe when you're you're a little behind you know it gives you that that drive to want to come out early and just like really put put your foot down and try to establish your place on the card um when you're one back I don't I I mean it's I mean that that can flip in a single hole especially out here on some of these holes so it's not a a huge task to overcome um so I definitely felt comfortable coming into the day I knew I needed to get off to a good start cuz that the middle of the back nine kind of doesn't necessarily shape up the best for me I got to take a lot of these tighter back can lines where I feel like they shape up better for beforehand um I was lucky to be able to like kind of split those holes today and get like half of them so um but yeah you can't I can't always count on that so I know I need to get off to...
