what's up everybody Brian aart here with Team Discraft and the disc golf Network and you are watching another episode of level up today is the season finale of season 2 of this show and over the past two years as we've shot this show we've talked about so many different techniques and mental approaches to further improve your disc golf game but today we're going to talk about a topic that's a little bit different and in my opinion very important as our sport of disc golf grows and moves into a more professional space we're going to be talking about the very serious topic of injury prevention and most specifically today arm care and to share his perspective is a professional throwing athlete we have professional major league pitcher Dylan CE joining us today who just so happens to also love the sport of dis golf in so many different ways Dylan thanks for joining us let's get out there and talk you're a big- Time professional athlete pro baseball pitcher I feel like a lot of your job is just staying healthy and keeping your shoulder and arm in shape yep but first when did you start throwing when did you first start playing baseball yeah I've been playing since I was 5 years old um started pitching when I was nine and uh I always played played Short Stop and pitcher and I was actually mostly a shortstop and then um my sophomore year of high school I of nowhere I started throwing like 95 it was it was wild I went from like low 80s had a little grosser next year I was throwing you know 95 so at that point we kind of realized that pitching was probably more in my future than uh than playing shortstop well question you're saying that you went from throwing X miles an hour yep to 95 and you were how old at that point I was 16 yeah I went from so freshman year I was like 80 M hour 8083 and and then sophomore year I came out thr 95 so then when it comes to Fitness and whatnot you're still a kid yeah I didn't know anything about it so talk about that that can't be good for a body that's not prepared to throw that fast like what what happened like how did that...
