there's an old southern saying you know if you're talking about red beans and rice oh it's the best beans and rice you know this side of heaven it's just a southern saying saying that something is really awesome that doesn't get any better on earth the only place where it's better is heaven and so to see this property uh to see the potential i just did a little word play and so that's where this side of heaven came from other places of beauty that i think of like vermont maple hill uh oregon you know you can't see that far in those places you're in the woods here it's like you can see so far and it's so beautiful the rolling hills trees in the background honestly can't get much better than this i had driven by this property many times it's quite frankly the most beautiful land in all of jonesboro and i thought man how cool would it be to have a disc golf course here so i used some of my contacts i tracked down the owners i went and talked with them and i said in fact what i've got in mind will bring people to town it'll be bring people to jonesburg you think you have a vision you you see it you know it will work it's one thing to to believe it it's another thing to see it it's it's a property designed for disc golf there's no park benches there's no like no sidewalks lots of long drives with long up shots definitely one of my favorites it's pretty neat now five years later again to see the best players in the world come up to you and say man i'm so happy to be back because this place is pretty special you
