here are your finalists for the disc golf pro tour Rookie of the Year award in the fo division kaidi all Salo ranked 39th on the disc golf pro tour all Salo had three top 10 finishes this season and finished second at the Copenhagen open elzra midling a powerful thrower from Oceanport New Jersey midling rookie season kicked off with a bang when she won the DG PT's All-Star distance competition midling had four top 10 finishes on tour this year Emily weatherman the only rookie to take down a win on the disc golf pro tour this season weatherman won the De Moine Challenge from the Chase card in exci fting fashion and the winner is Emily weatherman the abene Texas native LED all rookies in Podium finishes dgpt standings and cash on tour this season I just want to say thank you so much to each and every one of you who supported me throughout the year to the dgpt staff for all of the hard work that they put in uh to my competitors for welcoming me onto the tour with complete Open Arms grateful for that um to my family and friends who have been there for me for so long I couldn't do it without each and every one of you thank you so much it's been really great year and if anybody's wondering whether they should or should not try out this lifestyle try out this career um my advice is that if you had the chance to do it do it not everybody gets the opportunity to be a part of something so special that is the disc golf pro tour family you're going to make amazing memories you're going to have fun you're going to see a lot of beautiful places so if you have the opportunity I say just go for it in conclusion um I am so grateful to accept this award so honored this is crazy and not something I even expected to be doing at the beginning of this year I didn't even think I was going to be doing the full tour but um here I am and I'm so grateful for all the memories I've made I'm beyond excited for where this career takes me
