and your 2021 rookie of the year ganon bird that's just insane to hear honestly and have it be my name you know growing up i've always had dreams of becoming you know just even playing at the pro level uh whether that would be you know just local pro or you know playing at the top level have that title underneath my name kinda it's a better title than my junior world championship titles i feel like so i think that's a huge milestone in my disc golf career and i think it's a good building block moving forward ganon bird finished in the top 15 four times here on the disc golf pro tour that highlighted by a solo fourth place finish at the preserve championship in july this teenager locked himself in as the rookie of the year by making the semi-finals at the tour championship when i got to the disc golf pro tour finals in charlotte that's where i really felt connected to my game make it to the semifinal round where i'm missing the cut by stroke but other than that really happy with how my season went but at the same time there's so much to improve on and i have a lot of high expectations for next season gannon burr was an impressive 88 percent from c1x that puts him in the top 10 of that statistical category but my main goal would be to win one elite series event and i know i can do it after this season i just got to clean up a few strokes per round and next thing you know i'll be right up there every event congratulations to gannon burr on being the 2021 rookie of the year on the disc golf pro tour
