2020 Maine State Championships | Round 1, Back 9 | Hokom, Weese, Haggett, Dionisio
The 2020 Maine State Championships continue at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine, as the top disc golfers face off on the challenging Patriot layout. The silver series of the Disc Golf Pro Tour is underway, and Jessica Weese leads the pack with an even score. Sarah Hokum and Allison Haggett trail closely behind, each with a two-over round. The back nine holds some of the toughest holes, including the 546-foot par-4 "Hole Ten". This difficult hole features a blind basket that requires precise distance control to navigate through the dense forest and over a hill to reach. Players must master their drives and approach shots to capitalize on birdie opportunities like Jessica's impressive turn. The videographer follows the action, capturing the strategies and techniques employed by top players like Sarah Hokum, Allison Haggett, and Jessica Weese. From flippy throws to vanishing discs, the video highlights the skill and precision required to dominate this demanding course.
