welcome everyone to the maine state championships part of the silver series on the disc golf pro tour you're watching the fpo lead card in the final round battling it out at pineland farms in new gloucester maine i'm sarah holcomb here with nicole pickle denicio call in the action here we are with the final round jessica whis is going to be starting out at minus one sarah holcomb at two courtney cannon at eight and i'm at 13. and here we are on hole one and it's playing as a par three 298 feet and you can either tack it with a hyzer or a straight shot right at it or the four flex beforehand at it but you do have to make sure that it checks up before it goes over to the hill because the ob is about 10 feet behind the basket and it just drops right down that looming ob is certainly was in my head going into this first shot we'll see how jessica attacks it going with her trike on a hyzer a little bit early release and she's got some adrenaline running she does she just sent it right over that hill she'll have a short putt though to try to save her par i'm throwing a photon up the left side with a sidearm playing the wind perfectly and putting it right up there for a birdie pot it's pretty windy today and also really cold it's not even crested 50 degrees yet at this point courtney with the arm flexing catches oh another deep shot out of bounds she had that adrenaline going too this morning it looks like i'm going here with my shrike just trying to get a little flex shot and i end up turning it over and just putting it into the ground that headwind really uh didn't help the slight turn on that disc yeah the winds were really swirly i was having a hard time reading it out there today approaching with my cohort just trying to set it up next to the basket and just take my three great shot courtney from outside of circle one lays it up decides i'm just gonna s not gonna play with this elevated basket with the ob next to it smart play jessica with a chance to save her par just with the bid ah...
