we're finally here a season long journey seven and a half months in the making culminates this weekend at the 2019 disc golf Pro Tour Championship a journey for many that's led some to victory and others to bitter defeat Kevin Jones in Idyllwild Paul Macbeth at Maple Hill this season was full of memories while most make their way homes for the offseason a select few have been chosen to compete here at the hornet's nest in Charlotte North Carolina players will play up to four rounds this weekend on the recently renovated hornet's nest where Charlotte disc golf club has turned it into eight thousand plus feet of terror checking in at a par 63 for the MPO and 65 for the FBO 48 of the world's best we'll test their skills this weekend I know last year I was really trying to qualify and I didn't so I kind of left a sour taste in my mouth so I'm looking to do well I like the course I think it sets up pretty well for me so yeah I'm excited as far as playing goes this is just kind of a do-or-die tournament because I mean I have two byes so and it's top four out of 16 at that point so you pretty much just gonna have to go out here and put together a really solid around if you want to move on to the finals and play on Sunday I don't really get nervous so like it's more just fun for me and I'm excited to do it I mean life's event of the year I get to be on camera it's pretty cool I definitely feel like I'm playing more against my competitors I definitely feel where every other tournament I'm playing against the course I feel like I'm kind of seeing what everyone else is doing a little bit more just because you know I think it's for women it's top four scores are going above so it's definitely like okay she messed up here's my chance gone are the days of when your card to advance now it's just straight up scored to get you into the next round and I like that better than the first two rounds last year being the best eight scores and then you had to win your card I didn't like that because you could...
