Welcome into beautiful Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada for the 2026 Canadian National Championships. I am Ian Anderson as always, joined by Cory Merl, and we got a heck of a card cooking right here. Dude, feels great to be back at the Canadian Nationals. my first one since we were out in Prince Edward Island. And the community, the crew, the courses, everything here is awesome. >> Dude, it was an absolute treat to be up here and I cannot wait to go back. Here are some of your course sponsors. Huge thanks to them for bringing this coverage to you and making this tournament possible. Man, this this is a good tournament. We have obviously uh Thomas Gilbert representing the uh top end of Canadian disc golf, but Nate Ston made the journey up here, so should be a battle to the end. Uh, we're going to get it started here on hole one out at the co-op community course. And Ian, it is a tight one. Par4, 345 ft. Feels eagleable, like in your dreams. Having said that, I think the pro play is just to throw something around the bend and throw a short approach uh to get your day started, right? >> Yep.
