2022 Music City Open | Practice Round

The 2022 Music City Open | Practice Round is an exclusive look at the front and back nine of Middle Ridge Park in Nashville, Tennessee, a course on the PDGA Pro Tour's Silver Series. Professional disc golfer Ezra plays his first time navigating this challenging layout, offering valuable insights into its unique obstacles and wind conditions. As he takes on the 207-foot tight hole with an obstacle to the right, he discusses the importance of selecting a super-overstable driver due to strong headwinds. The course, situated within a park that's primarily dedicated to disc golf, features natural grass terrain and minimal distractions from other sports facilities, allowing players like Ezra to focus on their game. Ezra also breaks down hole two, a par-four with 710 feet of throwing distance, highlighting the various shot options available, including hyzer flips and annie flex flicks, and provides guidance on selecting the optimal approach to this demanding fairway bunker.
