He reveals that a premium plastic disc, the Neo Origin, is a staple in his bag and can make a significant difference in anyone's game, particularly for slower arm speeds. Silas emphasizes the importance of confidence in oneself, adopting a mindset shift to focus on future throws rather than past performances. With insights from a seasoned pro, this video offers valuable tips and advice for disc golfers of all levels.

what's up everybody it's felix with ace from productions we are back with another one disc one tip segment today we've got disc mania sponsor pro mr silas schultz hey what's up guys so silas you've uh you've been doing this now for a while you're touring you were the 2018 next gen winner that's right how long have you actually been playing the sport of disc golf uh ever since i was six so basically my whole life 12 years okay yeah it's a long time all right so right now you're sponsored by this mania that's correct you've got a choice of a lot of really premium plastic exactly if you can think of one disc that's in your bag now that you think could make a difference on anybody's game from beginner to pro what this would that be it would be the neo origin so this disc is a understable mid-range um but it has more glide than any other disc i've ever thrown or any other disc guy bag it's not super torque resistant so you have to have the touch but for a slower arm speed this is going to be just like a really nice hyzer flip to go straight and for a bigger arm speed this disc is going to with the right finesse go straight and when thrown on a backhand will fly like a sidearm just because the amount of glide it has it'll turn that way without actually rolling that sounds like it's really useful especially in the woods absolutely so you've been through a lot of level of competitions you've been to the big stage and won a big event like the next gen finals if you can think of one tip that can make a difference in anybody's game what would that be it would be confidence in yourself regardless of what the scorecard said what you've done earlier in the round or anything like that this is something that i've just recently started to adopt because i felt like i was too much of a momentum player like if i hit a couple putts early then i would feel my putter and i'd puck great but if i was missing those putts it would lead to like a really tough putting around or something like that so to keep a level head is key but also...
