thank you it's a new dawn it's a new day it's a new life we're at the New World Championships this is the second event of the dgpt 2023 season Ace run Pro is happy to present the round three back nine coverage I'm Andrew fish joined here by Connor O'Reilly it was a blast on the front and I've been fun commentating with you Andrew and we've got a star studded card here A bunch of different styles of play we saw Gavin kind of struggling with that finger all day and see he's able to finish this round out even and Brody and Isaac have had some solid scores going we see Paul really distancing himself from the pack has an eight stroke lead over three other players right now yeah the nobody on this card is in super position for the win but definitely Podium spots and I think the biggest thing is this is counting towards next year's 2023 dgpt standings which is a big long-term goal for a lot of folks for sure and the way the season grinds you along if you can play good at a couple silver series early maybe you can choose to rest at one or two later in the season and here we are on whole 10 it's a par four at 780 feet we've got that out of bounds Creek to clear early coming up we have the out of bounds cart path on the right golf green on the left also plays as a no-go line of crepe myrtles in the back kind of raining in and this one plays as one of the easiest hoes on the course especially if the wind is favorable today it kind of flipped up maybe a little bit ahead and kind of playing through the left side tree line and looks like Gavin is walking off right now not able to finish the round and really hard decision for him you know he's not feeling the best emotionally right now so we're rooting for you Gavin and we know he'll be back strong yeah sad announcement on that front um he he seems like he was going to take the rest of the season off let his hand heal and just like recover from the mental stress like that is an enormous part of professional disc golf is managing the...
