Welcome to The Back N coverage of round one of the 2024 flying eye open here at The Crucible my name is Bryson James to the right of me is Joseph Anderson how was round one yeah it was a it was a great front round front nine here first round at the Flying eye at this amazing Crucible course here in Athens Georgia decided to get into the back nine um again not super hot scores to start three under through the front nine myself and Cade are tied and a few at two under um the back nine I think is a little bit more challenging though than the front so we'll see if the scores continues to go down or a few folks find the rough yeah a lot of people in the mix here decided to get into it all right so again myself Davis Cade and Joey H 10 is another par 4 511 ft uh this first shot is very uphill and the only real approach to get yourself in position for the second shot is a sidearm uh so you'll see I think all of our card throw sidearm but you want to land in this Gap just to make it up to this green it's fairly open but you can see that Gap is pretty pretty small you really want to be in position on off that t yeah um this hole is significantly uphill so getting height underneath that forehand is really important and getting the distance too I think again one of these teads they move back is this one so it makes it a pretty challenging t-shot I think most folks are going driver here off the te just to get that distance but again you really want it to go up that hill which sacrific a lot of that distance but you also want it right yeah Kade kind of pulling over on his forehand there he's going to be out of position and that needs to go all right yeah just punch it through that corner and that's actually pretty decent spot yeah he's a little bit farther back but he's going to have a great angle for that Gap yeah like you mentioned Kade turned his drive over is in the rough here doing a forand roller and unfortunately finds the rough on the right side...
