The course has been in the making for months, with a team led by designer Scott Snow working tirelessly since July to bring it to life. With eight weeks of meticulous planning and labor, the result is a challenging yet breathtakingly beautiful course that features natural elevation changes, winding turns, and dramatic drops. From the front nine's grueling terrain to hole four's serene creek crossing, every detail has been carefully considered to create an unforgettable experience for players. hey everybody welcome back to the channel we are here for a special event we've got mike and nancy floyd and we are out at one of the most beautiful disc golf properties that we've ever been to the buffalo mountain disc golf course out here in beautiful willis virginia part of floyd county and we're here for the grand opening this is the first tournament that this course is going to host are you guys excited about this event very yes super excited yeah this couldn't have taken you know a couple of weeks to put together this looks like there's been a ton of work to get it to where it's at so how long did this entire process take to get to where you are today we started last july and we've got it in playable condition as of today we've done lots of work cutting down trees making paths putting baskets up building stairs to come down those high elevation areas building bridges to go over the creeks who else was involved in the planning of all of this uh scott snow is our designer of course from baylor colorado scott did a fabulous job he's worked eight weeks cutting down trees cutting down limbs from of course for me to pick up and uh to discard but uh scott did a great job of designing the course and uh so far all the pros that have been here have uh talked about how great of course it is so what are you most looking forward to with this event being out here and kind of it's almost like your baby being introduced to the world so well well i've been looking forward to having people really enjoy the course and i really love talking to all these young players say oh my goodness you know the front nine like really wore me out the elevation the turns it's difficult the length all of it you know but then they can enjoy the natural beauty of the place hole four is my favorite over a creek that bubbling beautiful creek so i love that going through the rhododendron forest i say so i'm looking forward to people really enjoying themselves something just happened you must have just got a hole in one exactly well that's some of the stuff we can expect to hopefully see this...
