The Blue Ridge Championship presented by Disc and generated by Grit Disc is back at North Cove Leisure Club for a highly anticipated DGPT Q-Series event. The newly designed course has been revitalized after a devastating storm, showcasing its unique challenges and hazards. Top-ranked players from Team Westside, led by Mattie O and Ganon Burr, are set to take on the course alongside Paul Davidson of Team Grit Disc and 2024 Blue Ridge Champion Clint Calvin. As the competition begins, viewers can expect to see players navigating downhill par threes, precise shots over hazards, and strategic throws through tight spaces. With its stunning scenery and demanding layout, North Cove is proving to be an ideal venue for top-level disc golf action. The event promises to deliver high-stakes competition, skillful play, and captivating moments that will keep fans on the edge of their seats.

Uh this is the scene of Hurricane Helen and what it left behind and countless residents worried about reaching their loved ones. More than 400 roads are still closed. I hear my granny growing up talking about the excuse me the 1940 flood. This is probably worse than the 40 foot. This will take years to clean up if it's ever. Heat. Heat. I love Bill. This is a DGPT Q series coming to you from the North Cove Leisure Club. We are back here once again after what was a just a devastating set of storms that came through here just a couple years ago. And it's incredible to see this place revitalized and to see a vent of this level back here once again. Proud to bring you this coverage is H from Productions. Felix joined by Conrad. Conrad, we're back and we brought with us some superstars to take on this newly designed course. Yeah, there's going to be a few holes out here that we haven't seen before. Some of them that look familiar, but I think our players should be able to tackle them just fine. First on the box, we'll have Mattie O Matthew Orum, team Westside, 1033 rated. The guy a lot of people have come out here to see Ganon Burr to see what he can do to this course. He's 1061 rated team dismania. Both of these guys no stranger to the old layout. Paul Davidson of Team Grit Disc joining us here on this round one feature card. Excited to see what his game looks like. And back on the channel, it is Clint Calvin, your 2024 Blue Ridge Champion. Start things off here. North Cove on the gorge, hole one, par three, downhill, 381 ft. Lot of things to deal with off the rip here. You just want to get cleanly through that section of trees there. And then your disc has to come to rest within this very small sliver of green space here in order to be uh safe. There is hazard and OB blooming all around.
