The 2023 U.S Women's Disc Golf Championship presented by Diskraft is in full swing at Cedar Rock Park in Burlington, North Carolina. Holly Finley and Raven Klein bring you coverage of day three, a rain-round event on the Regulator course. thank you Hello friends and family and welcome to day three of the 2023 U.S women's Disc Golf Championship presented by diskraft coverage brought to you by Ace run Pro and this is our last female major of the year and my name is Holly Finley and I'm Raven Klein look out for that tree Here Comes round three we are in Burlington North Carolina at the Cedar Rock Park playing the regulator course this is a mostly wooded course with some open shots mixed in it's a good combination and we've got a rain round for you today it was fun a little slippery lots of mud but excited to see how everyone plays it first on our card we have Jessica Wiese she is currently third in scramble at 73 percent next up Owens Goggins who is fifth in c1x putting at 89 and fifth in scramble third on the card we have Sarah Holcomb first in Fairway hits at 86 percent rounding out the card D and Carrie second in Fairway hits at 84 percent makes a lot of sense that our Chase card is full of the top people in scramble and Fairway hands hole one a par 4 starting 559 feet no out of bounds to really worry about off the tee got a lot of space to work with on your drive just pump it as far as possible but you might want to pick your Landing Zone because I like to land on the left side which gives you more of a hyzer approach versus some people like to land in the Middle where they can actually see the basket for the upshot this is a fast screen and behind the basket drops off so you can't send it too far too fast Jessica Wiese up first looks like she's throwing a Halo turn off the tee a nice Flex Shot crowd favorite owned with a nice backhand the kids are pretty close to whis Sarah Holcomb is 2012 World Champion she won it in Charlotte North Carolina so it's no surprise to see her here near the top at a very wooded course and Dan Carey is actually from North Carolina so also not surprising to see her here near the top at an extremely wooded course it's like playing golf at home yeah first Ian Carey who's landed on the left...
