welcome back friends and family to day one of the 2023 US Women's Disc Golf Championship presented by Discraft our coverage brought to you by Ace run Pro and this is our last PDGA major of the year my name is Holly Finley and I am Raven Klein we're feeling fine we're bringing you the back nine we are in Burlington North Carolina at the regulator course and it's been great so far lots of tight wooded lines definitely getable birdies some Eagle looks let's check in on the leaderboard we have Stacy ronley leading 5 down through 12 but many people chasing her closest Haley King hna blamus and Silva snin we'll start off with ho 10 par five 632 ft off the tea you are throwing downhill but the creek on the left side is OB the entire Fairway so you don't want anything that's going to leak or skip off to the left side if you don't care about that eagle bid or a birdie you can just pitch a putter or something easy to keep you on The Fairway and make your second and third shots longer however if you want to pump something down there you can have your second shot trying to crash land into this hill and give you that putt for Eagle own Scoggin up first after two birdies in a row that's beautiful she uses her leopard 3 off the tea a nice straight flight with a neutral finish and she is on the path I actually find this t- shot to be similar to whole 13 at Maple Hill like we just played it it's that that downward angle trying to find the correct stability I think something neutral on a little bit of Heiser is my favorite ooh Macy splitting the Gap with a forehand was nose down looking good and it has kicked OB into the creek I just didn't expect that no Valerie psyched me out there with little pump fake right Valerie with a nice nose down angle pushing over the Fairway she's on the path past own beautiful shot because Macy went out of bounds off the tea this is now her third shot she just needs to keep it in bounds beautiful Macy I love how low she can keep her forehand me too they're so smooth H with a turnover working its way...
