thank you Hello friends and family and welcome to the final day of the 2023 open at Austin presented by Lone Star disc we're here at the Harvey Pinnock disc golf course in Austin Texas I'm Holly Finley and I'm Connor O'Reilly super excited to be here Harvey Penick has been shown its teeth in different ways all weekend and today we saw a wind shift we have been used to that North Wind today we saw it kind of more out of the East and it was definitely flaring up more than the forecast showed so I think it effective the scores a little bit out there and you know everyone's looking to play aggressive score those birdies brace up the leaderboard challenge for a win of course this hard I think lends to everyone being in the mix with your lead or chase and here we see Katrina Allen 968 rated well known by the disc golf world two-time world champion Vanessa Van Dyken maybe a little bit less known but really solid player just under 950 rated I'm excited to see her play today I don't have a ton of experience watching her dub Jessica Wiese team Innova rounding out the card we have Ella Hansen new to the fpo division just a couple of years on tour and Incredibly impressive with her skill set and her Charisma yeah it was just great for the game and whole one a tough part 4 with ob laid in either side of the Fairway left side you have this path there's a rough to the right you want to land somewhere around here and you really got to be particular with your angles so you don't cut out to the left if you're throwing that backhand from there you can play into this peninsula green you really got to be careful to land the disc pretty flat so you don't skip out of bounds coming in here got a good forehand you can kind of go same shot twice here Katrina Allen yeah some extra ground play too a little extra 30 feet Vanessa also going for him is she a player that goes both ways a little bit or I mean I'd say she's more of a scramble shot uh you know she has a great turnover shot so she'd probably lean on that more so than a...
