one welcome frisbee Fanatics to Ace run Pro this is the 2023 Dynamic Discs open presented by the Dynamic Discs if you are wondering we're here in Emporia Kansas for this disc golf pro tour Elite event and the weather is the most Cooperative we've probably seen so most players are super excited to attack this newly redesigned Trek I'm Connor O'Reilly joined today by Holly Finley in the booth yes sir I've been playing this event as far back as 2012 when it was called the glass blown open I actually played it as an intermediate woman let's check out the top 10 leaderboard after the front nine Ella Hansen in the lead with five under par Haley King Missy Gannon Keating and Cynthia ricciotti all up there in the top Hilton this is one of the holes that we saw get a new design same tee shot as last year but this time it's a par 4 to the basket of the next hole play a shot straight out of the Gap and hopefully finish kind of straight maybe slightly to the left to get too far left that wall of trees we just flew past can make the upshot a little more difficult out of bounds on the left side pinching into Circle one as you approach and this is definitely a hole that's playing pretty difficult to birdie for the fpo division Holland Hanley up first she takes the middle route which hyzers out left to a very open Landing Zone and really the key for me to get a birdie here is I need to make it to the old basket position if I can just try to get in the circle of the old position you've got about a you know 270 to 80 foot up shot and you're dropping inverting come to panis up third and that's looking a little left but there's a lot of space behind that tree look at that this one tricks you or at least tricks me into thinking I really needed to get left like Kona did but she's gonna find herself behind the wall of trees making that shot very difficult if you can push this one straight through the Gap like Holly said towards that old pin the approach is going to be much more accessible short for Katrina ceiling is going to make it...
